== Doomwheel in Real-Life == The Doomwheel was a concept that originated in Leonardo da Vinci's sketches but only came into prominence during World War 1 as a hypothetical solution to the bloody and stagnant nature of trench warfare. It's inventors and supporters believed it would become a new trend that would revolutionize warfare as they knew it. Sadly, the conservative nay-sayers (who most likely supported and went with the British Mark 1) thought that the novel concept was too stupid to succeed and catch on, let alone become practical enough for any nation to use in any meaningful numbers. But there are still those who believe in the monowheel fighting vehicle concept even to this day as the British and Germans made their own takes on it for research and experimentation (see Dynasphere and Kugelpanzer) and has found its niche with a new lease on life as a Sci-fi vehicle concept. {{Template:Skaven-forces}}
