==Units Overview== [[File:Unit Identifier Shock Army of Acontecimento.jpg|thumb|Unit Identifier Shock Army of Acontecimento]] ===Light Infantry=== *'''Acontecimento Regulars:''' Higher WIP than regular Fusiliers, at the cost of ARM. A regular might be a good cheap specialist, if you prefer the WIP over the ARM. The minelayer sensor profile enables you to set up a strong DZ defense and the paramedic is great at supporting your medium and heavy infantry. MULTI Sniper option is worth a look due to Sapper rule - note they get a spitfire instead of an HMG option. **Fireteam: Core, Special fireteam wih up to 2 Bagh-Maris and up to 1 Orc in a Core. *'''Flight Officer Agnes Ferreira:''' At 14 pts Agnes is mainly a cheap generic WIP13 specialist with sixth sense and an SMG to turn into a roadbump vie suppression fire after her button pushing is done. Shock Army let's her wildcard, so she's turning into a cheap linkfiller. *'''Machinist :''' Not very good, but it's the only Engineer in Acon, so if you're heavy on Remotes or taking a TAG, you'll be taking him anyway. There's one profile able to join a Bagh-Mari fireteam. *'''Tech-Bees, Maintenance Battalions:''' An odd Irregular trooper, the Tech-Bee is a 5pts specialist (WIP12, but for that cost it's still a bargain) armed with a pistol and a Flash Pulse. Lacking its old 'Remote Assistant' option, it's no longer the Engineer buff, but they're still a decent ARO option and can do objectives. Take or leave. *'''Trauma-Doc:''' The cheap Doctor option. Much like Machinist she's not very good, but she's also dirt-cheap. *'''WarCor:''' He's a 3pts irregular flash pulse ARO. Sometimes all you need is a stun shot on 13 to stop a rambo in their tracks. They are the definition of a speed bump. ===Medium Infantry=== *'''Akalis, Sikh Commandos:''' Rather basic AD trooper, but not a bad one. Has one specialist profile or can be used a straight up killy unit. Has E/M CCW for some inexplicable reason. Rather average Phys, meaning they could use Supportware. The E/Mitter and AHD profiles can ruin a day of a Heavy Infantry or a TAG. **'''Kirpal Singh, Akalis Sergeant:''' Chain of Command and Martial Arts 2, Kirpal can make quite a mess in enemy backline. CoC can be a little risky if used, since AD troops tend to be out on their own and Kirpal likes close range, but it does count as a Specialist Troop in ITS. There's also the NCO version for efficient use of the LT order. *'''Bagh-Mari Unit:''' Their main purpose is forming an MI fireteam in Acontecimento, Mimetism + MSV1, these are cheap and efficient killers. Fireteam Core and Haris. Consider dropping one or two into a Regular fireteam. **'''Lieutenant Stephen Rao, Bagh-Mari Unit:''' For some reason Rao does not have a Light Shotgun, but as a wildcard specialist with D-Charges you will certainly find a place for him in your list. *'''Drakios, Steel Phalanx's NCO:''' A competent murderer with access to Devabots for some extra heavy flamethrower-protection. This guy gets either a regular combi rifle or the Red Fury, which isn't a really amazing weapon this edition, BUT he's good at CC and with Berserk accessing an enemy unit gets way more deadly! He's also a specialist for extra versatility. *'''Scylla, Steel Phalanx's NCO:''' A hacker with a bonus on Trinity, and up to 2 Devabots with heavy flamethrowers to cover some extra angles. She also brings a pitcher to increase your cyberspace board control, so parking her next to a baggage bot isn't a bad idea. As a bonus she gets a (-3) for enemy hackers. *'''Teucer, Agêma Warrant Officer:''' MSV2 and a BS14 with BS(Shock) make Teucer an efficient solo gunfighter. Gets either a K1 Sniper Rifle or a Feuerbach, which both are amazing threats to basically any unit in the game. Unfortunately, he's expensive with MSV2 and Triangulated Fire. TF is rendered redundant with MSV2 on a long-range weapon like the feuerbach or MSR. Still useful for hunting armor, but massively expensive for what you get with no defensive modifiers. ===Heavy Infantry=== *'''Guarda de Assaulto:''' Cheaper in N4 than N3, dropping to 40-45pts, but Guarda can get close thanks to his Auxbot’s Eclipse Grenade Launcher. The Guarda also carries a Heavy Flamethrower and D-charges on both profiles, and the auxbot gets a light shotgun as a backup weapon. Don't scoff at his stats - remember that when double corner peeking with him and the bot, a single trooper can only shoot one of them. *'''Motorized Knights of Montesa:''' The first biker HI, making Yu Jing forever salty. Montessa are fast, durable and killy, though they have "low" BS 13. They can take Multi rifles, boarding shotguns and red furies. They have a paramedic profile which is great for getting up the table to do objectives *'''ORC Troops:''' PanOceanian poster boy HI, has a reputation of being useless. This is mostly down to the fact that ORCs are as baseline as they come: no special skills, no fancy equipment, no interesting weapons, WIP 12. Their one saving grace is being a relatively low points BS 14 HMG platform with Lieutenant option. Note that one Orc can join the Regulars for cheap and efficient core-link firepower. ===Tactical Armor Gear=== *'''Dragões, Acontecimento Dragoons:''' Typical frontline TAG, Dragão’s main pull is the Hyper-Rapid Magnetic Cannon. A rare and scary gun, it defines the unit. Just point at target and dakka it to bits. *'''Tikbalangs, Armoured Chasseurs of Acontecimento:''' The other Stingray, Tikbalang is a mobile TAG designed for fighting at all ranges. Cheap and light, but not weak at all, with Mimetism and BS 15 it will win firefights and the mines allow it to secure itself from warbands or have his back covered when in Suppressive Fire. Climbing Plus lets him attack from unexpected angles and traverse terrain most units see as nothing more than LoF blockers. If you want you can have him hanging from a wall and shooting down, how cool is that? His buff was paid with Toni’s life, call your Tik ‘Eduardo’ in her honor. ===Remotes=== *'''Dronbots:''' Standard issue S3 Remotes, PanOceanian ones are not special in any way. **'''Clipper:''' The Smart Missile Launcher Remote. Unfortunately PanO does not have good FOs or Hackers, so it's usually a waste to take one. But it could work as a mindgame. **'''Fugazi:''' The Repeater/Flash Pulse Remote. Cheap Regular Order and a mobile Repeater. Nice filler or Flash Pulse ARO. **'''Pathfinder:''' The Forward Observer Remote. Mobile Repeater, armed, specialist, for 16 pts. It is one of PanO's better specialists, in part due to its fast movement. **'''Sierra:''' The HMG Total Reaction Remote. Just park it where it can cause your opponent the most trouble moving around. *'''Mulebots:''' Standard issue S4 Baggage Remotes. Come with Minesweeper, EVO Hacker and TR Combi profiles. EVO Hacker is the one to take if you plan on using a lot of AD (you shouldn’t), TeamPro or Armbots. Minesweeper is a standard cheap Order and a way to dominate a quadrant. *'''Armbots:''' PanO-specific combat Remotes, come in two flavors: **'''Bulleteer:''' MIM (-6), BS 12, Spitfire or Heavy Shotgun, Repeater, 17-23 pts. Bulleteers are known cheap killers. With Marksmanship supportware a Bulleteer is a sure way to clear out enemy TR Remote and other ARO pieces in a straight up gunfight. After you’ve paid premium for your awesome HI trooper, a Bulleteer is a good way to cover his flank. Definitely better with a Spitfire than a Shotgun. **'''Peacemaker:''' Just like Bulleteer, comes with a Repeater and a Heavy Shotgun and Spitfire options. Loses ODD in favour of an Auxbot, making it a less straight-up aggressive bot, fit more for clearing out infiltrators. Much like Bulleteer, can be used to fill a blind spot, arguably better due to its two-in-one nature. For this role the Shotgun is preferable. *'''Palbots:''' PanOceanian G: Servants. If you take Machinist or any of the Doctors they will usually need one. ===Warband=== Acontencimento doesn't fight this way. ===Skirmishers=== *'''Dart, Optimate Huntress:''' Gets Forward Deployment (8"), MIM (-3), NWI, and Camouflage, making her a midfield threat. With her SMG she can get into suppression or just be an unexpected close-range threat, her bow is more for flavor reasons. E/M grenades make a good weapon against beefy HI and TAGs. *'''Nagas:''' Infiltrators with camo and MIM (-3), aswell as Dogged for some extra resilience. WIP 14 makes them excellent midfield specialists with a bunch of profiles to choose from.
