===Infantry=== *Blade Dancers:Brutal. Headstrong. Vicious. 20 attacks in a Troop. Oh boy these ladies are nasty! They can get more survivability in Regiment size, but take them in Troops for a nasty shock troop. *Buccaneers: A interesting skirmishing unit, with 4+ range and 4+ melee, Vicious and Throwing weapons. You'll have to get them in close, but you'll hold your own in a fight. *Crossbowmen:You get crossbows instead of bows and vicious instead of elite but otherwise you are Kindred Archers. In a horde they will hit like a truck. Take two. *Gargoyles: Available in troop size only. They hit on a 4+ with a low defense of 3+, but they gain Fly and Regeneration (3+). You want to use this to harass the flanks of smaller enemy units so you don't get wiped out before you can use your Regeneration. Low model count means you're fleeing on an 11, which isn't very high at all, so you need that Regeneration to reduce your total wounds on the unit. *Lower Abyssals: Oh man, your very own daemonette unit, just like in Storm of Chaos. They are irregular, but come with Fury and Regeneration (5+). You can take them up to horde size and like their Forces of the Abyss counterparts they can switch to two-handed weapons to gain Crushing Strength (1) at the cost of 1 point of defense. They make pretty good meat shields, which is what you want them for. Take them at horde strength and tar pit a unit for the whole game. *Reaper Guard: For a 150 pts you get a rather killy unit with 3+ to hit, Vicious and Crushing Strength 1. Pretty good as a finisher unit, but don't send them in alone. *Shadows: Your mobile ranged unit, with Pathfinder and Vanguard. Set them up in a woods to unleash hell from afar. Crossbowmen are more dependable as your range attacker, but as additional support/distraction these guys work great. *Spearmen: Just like Elf Tallspears except with Vicious instead of elite. Makes them a little worse than Tallspears, but still a very dependable horde option.
