==Culture== Due to the nature of the Abhumans in the Imperium at large, the Ninh have been cast to every corner of the galaxy as attached companies to many Imperial Guard Regiments. Even before rise of the Guard, the Imperial Army Regiments of Ninh brought their population to many locations. Despite this enormity of distance, the Ninh maintain a similar culture no matter where they come to call home. Unless changed by directed force, the difference between a homeworld Ninh and a colonial is moot. The structure of the Ninh family is around the elderly, the grandparents or great grandparents standing as the heads. Early on, young Ninh are given a series of task to preform that are tests to determine their success later in life. These involve logic puzzles, arithmetic problems, and problem-solving questions. There is no standardization of these sorts of tests, varying from household to household. Based on these results however, the Ninh will be given greater responsibilities. This is all done as part of an ancient practice of preparing them for life outside of the family. At age six, the Ninh are thrown out of the house. They are expected to survive on their own wits from here on out. They are not to return until they have acquired a mate, and property of some repute. This can range from a single apartment, to cattle, to hundreds of acres in land. Upon joining the Imperium, many opt out for standard Ninh life by volunteering for the Imperial Tithe. This is done in most cases to spite their family. Those who do return are apologized too and welcomed back warmly. When the returned Ninh have children of their own, they give them to their own parents, thus repeating the cycle. ===Homeworld Government=== Before the unification of Ninh tribes, one leader assumed power through exemplary traits of the strain; ingenuity, inventing, and construction. This leader became known as the first '''Irîtu'''. A thousand years after his tradition, Hektor was greeted with by Enumuzi Irîtu, the boy ruler. The Irîtu acts now largely as the Imperial Governor of the system, subject to the whims of the Sector Government but still allowed to control the laws and how tithe is paid on Kharsag. This privilege was maintained through Enumuzi Irîtu's negotiations with Hektor, and his later decision to side against him with the Imperium. The Irîtu leads the people by having a Council of Action. Members from every strata and province who must act on his command and respond to the needs of their people. Though the criteria for becoming a Councilmember is vague at best, the Irîtu is trusted with being able to choose who is capable for serving on this almost parliamentary body. The Council composes of upwards to a thousand individuals, and political blocs have formed in the past but this is a rarity. The number one drive of the Council is to keep society working at peek efficiency. In the later years of its service to the Imperium, the Council has become obsessed with properly paying the Imperial Tithe.
