A lance-boat/carrier hybrid.

Of the two Cruiser carriers, the Moonray is the least preferable outside of special situations, just like the [[Moonray-class Wraithship]], hindered by combining launch bays that don't require strafing runs to use properly, with the Pulsar Cannons which demand it.

Typically this is a ship you'll find yourself benefiting from taking, only when facing heavily armoured enemies, though if you don't have a problem managing all your micro needs, you shouldn't find the Moonray to be as hindering.

It is armed with 2 Launch Bays carrying [[Darkstar Fighter]]s and [[Eagle Bomber]]s and 3 [[Pulsar Lance]] Cannon Beams.
