==Legacy== Against the Giants directly inspired two [[Adventure Path]]s in subsequent editions; Giantslayer for [[Pathfinder]], and "Revenge of the Giants" for [[Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition]]. 4e also directly converted the Against the Giants adventures, adding both a new interquel adventure "Warrens of the Stone Giant Thane" between Steading and Glacial Rift and an optional sequel, "Unfriendly Skies", in its run of [[Dungeon Magazine]]. The Giants quadrilogy ran from issue #197 to #200, whilst Unfriendly Skies appeared in issue #205. Against the Giants was one of the many classic D&D adventures converted to [[Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition]] in the [[splatbook]] "Tales from the Yawning Portal". Also Ru Emerson kicked off the [[Greyhawk Classics]] line with a late-1990s novelisation. In line with the era, this one was written without an eye to the "Descent" run; [[Paul Kidd]] will end up with that. [[Category: Dungeons & Dragons]] [[Category: Modules]]
