Ussar is an industrial world that had been rocked by Long Dark. Only having recently achieved a level of early Industry. Oral history and poorly preserved written records indicate that Ussar was ravaged by looting and chaos for centuries, with the administrators of the planet going underground. When the conflicts finally began to die down these same administrators rose up, forming a totalitarian government known as “Godly Plutocracy of Ussar”. With Piter returned to the Imperial Fold the world was uplifted to a level of technology equal to that of the rest of the imperium, with the tundras of the barren north being converted into the Legion’s Headquarters that would draw from the population both for the auxiliaries and Marines.
