====Transmutative Armaments==== An absolutely awesome piece of Daemonic 'weaponry'. Transmutative Armaments behave somewhat like the Fleshmetal Guns, in that both these weapons are in a constant state of transformative flux. So far, it is only used by the Infernus Abominations as the weapon IS the Daemon. True to its name, Transmutative Armaments are able to shapeshift into various shapes depending on the role or target the Daemon wants to knick off. There are currently three sub-forms the weapon can change into: *Hammerblade - A large, hefty weapon that is designed to break TEQs in close-quarters combat. Definitely the heavy of the forms and, judging from its name, most likely resembles a large war axe on one end and a large warhammer on the other. Crunchwise, the Hammerblade is a S8, AP2 beatstick with Murderous Strike (6+), Brutal (2) and two-handed as its profile. *Spinelash - "Whip me harder daddy!" The whip and middle-child of the family. The Spinelash has greater reach and unpredictability in its usage. S5, AP4 with Reach (2), Breaching (6+) and two-handed. Use it to spank some MEQs. *Talon-rakes - The one we have a model of. Talon-rakes are nothing more than a fleshy lightning claw and, unsurprisingly, have the shortest range and weakest strength of the sub-forms. S4, AP5 may not sound like much, but you factor in Shred, Rending (6+), and Ramapage (2) and you are now staring into the fist of an organic blender. Overall, Transmutative Armaments are fucking versatile, as the player can switch between sub-forms before the Assault phase begins. This allows the player to hard-counter certain enemies in the mosh pit of a Horus Heresy playthrough. Not too shabby.
