===Astrubael Vect=== 
Once a lowly slave, the Lord Astrubael Vect became supreme Lord of the Dark realms in M.36, and has ruled the city with an iron fist in the 5 millennia since. However, Vect was not always this way. Only after a ten centuries of backstabbing, plotting, and political machinations, did Vect rise to power, and before those times, served as a lowly slave. This makes him generally irrelevant to the M.30 setting, because, at this point, the Old houses would retain control of the webway for 6 thousand years, only ending with the rise of Vect.

However, his power is limited by a variety of factors. He and the lesser masters of Commorragh are far from the only power in the webway in M41. Expansions to tactical regions by his allies in the Harakien Empire inadvertently led to some sub-realms being rendered too defensible to conquer, under the hands of various powers.
