===Imperium Ascendant===
The Most Fuck-Ass Awesome Timeline: The Legion of the Damned are sent back in time by the Throne-Emperor to stop the scattering of the Primarchs by Argel Tal. After they succeed, the Emperor of the past looks upon the future that is the galaxy of 40K and vows to ensure that such a nightmare will not come to pass as the Ascendant Imperium strikes out against the darkness. In short, The Emperor learns where the Canon timeline will lead, and decides to take corrective measures. This leads two major downsides compared to the main timeline in that Ultramar becomes a Chaos empire instead as Guilliman (Marco Augustio) never landed there to unite the 500 worlds, and Malal is actively out and about feuding the with the 11th Primarch. There is also excellent writing about Gene-seed organs both vanilla and Primaris, plus a few neat extra organs that the original Emperor dismissed as too little utility for available time including a legion specific organ for each legion (akin to the Canis Helix for the Space Wolves, and the Grey Knights get the coolest named one called the Ghost Heart).
