==Daily Rituals of a Salamander== The daily rituals of the Salamanders take noticeably longer than other Chapters due to Nocturnean pragmatism...and the times are due to...well...you know... * 12:00: "Morning" Prayer: The Salamanders are roused to begin the day with a few litanies from the Promethean Cult. All battle brothers worship only by the pilot lights of their flamers. * 13:00: "Morning" Firing Rituals: The Salamanders practice their firing skills. Usually using flamers or meltaguns instead of bolters. The Chapter serfs often have to put out the fires that the Salamanders inadvertently and inevitably cause. * 14:00: Sponge bath the elderly: unlike that OTHER chapter "Marines Malevolent - 2d4chan" who go into retirement homes to pick fights with the elderly, the salamanders go into homes and give sponge baths to the elderly, help them move heavy boxes and have their chapter Techmarines help them set up tivo, overall having a chapter of 9 feet tall flamethrower wielding eldar barbecuing giants, is actually quite helpful, the fact that they have now crossed the Rubicon Primaris means they can use their awesome powers to do even 'more' stuff to help the elderly and the community. * 15:00: Battle practice: The Salamanders descend to the practice cages. Cages have usually been repaired from all the burn damage from the previous day by that point. Any Tyranids who happen to be a part of this battle practice will usually be part of the next meal. * 16:00: beat up the marines malevolent hour: the salamanders will spend the next hour or so hunting down and beating the ever loving tar out of these yellow power armored scammers, any battle brother that beats up captian vinyar will earn a 2 rank promiton and the personal approval of chapter master Tu'shan * 17:00: current crusade against tau empire: the salamanders, have for some inexplicable reason, declared war on the tau empire, and the chapters entire war has been aimed at fighting the Kroot, nobody knows why they are obsessed with fighting 6 foot tall giant chicken men but it might have something to do with the massive mechanicus issued deep frier recently installed on Vulkan's Might. * 18:00: Hammer time: The Salamanders take to the maintenance of their wargear while also forging new weapons and armor. The Adeptus Mechanicus often drools, wishing they could be anywhere near as good. * 19:00: Literary sessions with brother La forge: every day tech marine La forge, of the third company helps schola aged children to read, in his 9 foot tall frame with his big bionic eyes, he sits children on his massive primaris lap and reads from approved materials, these include but are not limited too how to train your dragon, an ancient terran survivalist manual, A game of thrones by George R.R Martin, with special emphasis on why dragons are so cool, the Tome of fire by Primarch Vulkan, Meditations of Marcus Auralius and Land raider Prometheus technical manual, now in pop up form. other battle brothers sometimes read such as, how to cook with prometheum, a childrens primer by battle brother Foreman of the 5th company. and "Dont point that flamer at the fuel tank brother!" by Burnie, Wisernow! these reading sessions are well received and greatly appreciated by the children of nocturne. * 20:00: "Midday" meal: A light meal prepared by the chapter serfs is consumed. Carolina Reaper peppers are usually a component of the meal. Ghost peppers are employed for occasions when the Salamanders have esteemed guests from outside the chapter. If for any reason, a battle brother suffers indigestion, the Apothecary will administer the ancient Terran compound "Peptobismol" to remedy it. * 21:00: Pimping of the Rides: The Rhinos, Land Raiders, and Predators are pimped out with sufficient bling, preferably flame like components, as that attracts girls. * 22:00: "Afternoon" Firing Rituals: The Salamanders again take to practicing their firing skills, again using flamers and meltaguns instead of bolters. This time, they are more careful, so that they do not cause the civilians more work than necessary. * 00:00: "Evening" meal: A feast prepared by the Chapter serfs is consumed. The meal usually consists of an ancient Terran fruit called a "Watermelon" and a helping of a flightless, avian animal, fried to a crisp according to a legendary ritual dating back to the Dark Age of Technology. Beverages usually consist of an ancient Terran form of malt liquor called "Old English" or just "Ol' E". On special occasions they may even break out an ancient carbonated drink referred to as "Cristal". * 01:00: Free time: The Salamanders are given free time from their duties. Some reflect on their duty to the Emperor. Others go and commune with the folks in the Sanctuary Cities on Nocturne, often partaking in an ancient Terran game commonly referred to as "hoops", or compulsively forge new suits of artificer armor. * 04:00: Lights out: The Salamanders retire for the "evening". Before they go to bed, they shed a manly tear for the Lamenters.
