Every time a new nerd "groks" the idea of role-playing games, they naturally want to tinker and improve the systems they use. These would be "house rules," or rules of the game used when you play in this household. Then some smar/tg/entlefolk get the idea that they could start from scratch and make a game system that does what they want. Unlike Homebrew Settings, these articles describe entire rulesets, not just modifications to existing systems. You should find everything you need to print-and-play a game. (some items in this category aren't strictly born from /tg/, but has all the rules needed to play in one article)
