The Editors Setting is a setting that considers all works of media ever created as its own world, or subset of worlds inside The Meta, a corner of infinity that connects on a deep level to humanity's imagination. 

It means that, given all works of media ever are involved, it means that say, The Adventures of Tintin, Starcraft 2, Snow Crash, D&D -- comics, games, literature, movies, television show -- all exist as a separate universe or set of, in The Meta.

Stories and campaigns in the Editors Setting tend to involve the actions and effects of inter-dimensional organizations and entities, such as the Transpace Guard, the Time-Space Administration Bureau, the G-Man, Alternity Prime, Aslan, the Combine, the Interspace Patrol, to name a few.
