The Deathsworn were the fighting elite of the [[Space Wolves]] Legion during the [[Great Crusade]] and [[Horus Heresy]]. They were the [[Edgy]] [[Twilight|Goth]] [[Furry|Furries]] of their day who was so mindfucked from war that they all gone full [[/tv/|Pvt. Leonard 'Gomer Pyle' Lawrence]] to even their own fur-pals. Which one must wonder how pants-shitting scary the [[Xenos]] were in the 31st Millennium that even the Imperium's personnel attack dogs went off-the-wall bonkers, something that has not happened in the present day. The [[Rangda]] must have definitely made the [[Tyranids]] look like a bunch of pussies if that were the case.

==Overview==
After getting their Full Metal Jacket treatment, the Deathsworn had their minds and souls irreparably damaged to such an extent that they were no longer men or even Space Marine. Rather, they were said to be something hollow and murderous beyond reason. They had an unusually strong impulse to [[RIP AND TEAR]] until it is done; to the point it goes beyond excessive, even for the Space Wolves, and were interred into specialized units known as Deathsworn packs.

These [[Awesome|wolf-skull helmed warriors]] would than go full-on [[Wulfen|feral]] and OMNOMNOM the bodies of their enemies in the name of the Cult of Morkai. They wore a specially-designed [[Mark III: Iron Armour]] and wielded [[Bolt Pistol]]s, [[Power Axe]]s, [[Power Fists]], [[Thunder Hammer]]s, [[Chain Weapon#Frost Blade|Great Frost Blades]] and the [[Grenades & Explosives#Stasis Grenade|Yimiria Class Stasis Bomb.]]

==Crunch==
On the tabletop, the Deathsworn are 175pts for 5 and 30 per model for 5 more. They are Space Wolves that went all out beast-crazy with bloodshed and were assembled into a special shock troops cult. These lunatics are armed with Power Axes by default and can all buy Power Fists, while one in 5 can buy a Thunder Hammer or a Great Frost Blade. More importantly, they can buy Rad Grenades! They are WS4 but ''Heavy'' (so WS5 on a Charge) with 2W in 2+ armour save which makes them resistant to AP3 weapons. They have ''Stubborn'' and ''Counter-attack (1)'' and will strike with 1 attack even if killed. They can also act as a Retinue for a Caster of Runes or Speaker of the Dead Consul; only these Independent Characters can join them. They also possess Ymira Class Stasis Bombs; when Deathsworn are Charged, the enemy must make a Disordered Charge, but if used on the Charge, this gives ''Fleshbane'' and ''Gets Hot'' to ''their'' attacks against the target until the start of your next turn.
