The drow of Eberron are split into different sects and tribes, with each having their own religion. ==Promise of Fire== The Sulatar (giant for firebinders) drow keep alive the ancient traditions of the Sul'at League, seeing themselves as their rightful heirs. They believe a time will come when the Gates of Promise will open to the promised land of fire, which many believe to be Fernia, through their devotion, and the Sulatar will become immortal as they purge the world with fire. clear ==Umbra== Not to be confused with the Warhammer 40,000 xenos of same name. During the war between giants and dragons, a group of drow escaped to Khyber from the devastation. As they wandered the undergrond they came to settle underneath the Ring of Storms, home to the long dead Qabalrin elves, and came across their lore, and there learned of the Umbra, a mystical source of power. As generations passed, the drow bound their flesh and souls to the Umbra through terrible arcane rituals, becoming the Umbragen. They believe that the Umbra slowly devours all it touches, and those closest to it tend to become cold and ruthless as their powers grow. To the Umbragen, this is a fair deal however, considering what they fight against. Many people believe that the Umbragen worship The Shadow, they have the same domains as his worshippers. They're battling a constant war against the Daelkyr and their creations, which tends to make you pretty desperate. clear ==Vulkoor== Most drow in Xen'drik worship Vulkoor, the scorpion god. The most well known of the drow gods, some say he's just The Mockery under a different name. He is perhaps the closest thing in Eberron to Lolth, even creating drow-scorpion hybrids called Scorrow from his followers, although unlike the driders of any setting other than the Nentir Vale, Scorrow are considered blessed by their scorpion-featured deity and not cursed. How he's worshipped varies from tribe to tribe, with the three common aspects being: the Hunter, the Wrathful, and the Cunning. As the Cunning, he's believed to encourage the drow to reclaim Xen'drik for themselves, and seek ancient magics and relics to help this endeavor. As the Hunter, he's the ideal drow, a skilled and crafty hunter, protector of the drow people, and fearless in face all dangers and challenges, who is revered through their actions, and recitations of his deeds and those of heroes emualting him. As the Wrathful, he's the reason the old giant empire fell, and he needs to be appeased through blood sacrifice lest similiar destruction fall upon them. clear
