The Grots of House Goliath. Forge-born are prospect members of House Goliath, who try to prove their worth to the gang by undertaking the most dangerous missions available as they have not yet proven themselves to the House, preventing them from fully being inducted into the Goliath Gang culture. They are notable for being less swole than their cousins, making them the lowest rung in the ladder. Even more so than Bullies. ==Overview== As aforementioned, they are less heavily muscled than most Goliath members and due to this, they hold the House's underslung weapons with two hands rather than one. Their lower muscle mass also makes them more vulnerable and 'squishier' than typical Goliath members, being overly reliant on numbers, speed and their heavy weapons to do the job for them. Despite having less muscle mass, the things a Forge-Born carries is above and beyond that of typical Bullies or even Bruisers. This includes the Storm-Welder and the Heavy Rock Saw alongside a Hand Flamer as a secondary, as well as a belt of Frags and Krak Grenades. ==Crunch== On Necromunda, Forge-Borns are faster and weedier than regular Bullies, and come with an equipment list and special rule that encourages risky play similar to the suicide runs from the juves of old. They have the option to promote after five advancements in the unlikely event that they live that long, but unlike Bullies, Forge-Born promote into full champion-types. In a campaign, these prospects mostly excel at padding out numbers for Bottle checks, scouting and flanking around objectives, and dive bombing the enemy with grenades, template weapons (our main use-case for the Hand Flamer), and the infamous Storm-Welder. They even have a special rule to prevent Nerve tests from nearby allies when theyโre seriously injured, because everyone else kinda expected it to happen. House Goliath
