Every [[Gang Queen|alpha bitch]] requires her posse of lesser bitches, and the Gang Matriarch sure fit the bill. These chicks are the second in command within [[House Escher]]'s Underhive gangs.

==Overview==
They are chosen from the craziest, wildest and most homicidal members of a gang and serve as an enforcer, Underhive assassin and a debutante of death. A Gang Matriarch will always carry the gang's deadliest weapons and favors wearing even more outlandish (Hint: 80's levels) dress than most Eschers. It is no surprise then, that when their Gang Queen dies, the Matriarch will inevitably take her place as the gang's leader.

Each Gang Matriarch look and behave differently. Some really like chems, like, ''really'' likes them, and tote around a [[Chem-Thrower]] to melt her foes into human [[drug]]s. Others prefer a more balanced approach, equipping herself with a [[Needle Pistol]] or [[Plasma Pistol]] and a [[Power sword|Power Sword]]. However, on average, the typical Matriarch carries around a [[Imperial Boltgun]], [[Combi-Plasma]], [[Grenade Launcher]], [[Plasma Gun]], [[Needle Sniper Rifle|Needle Rifle]], [[Sawn-Off Shotgun]], [[Power Weapon#Power Hammer|Power Hammer]] or a [[Arc Weaponry#Shock Whip|Shock Whip]], as well as a belt of [[Grenades & Explosives#Frag Grenade|Frags]], [[Grenades & Explosives#Krak Grenade|Kraks]] and [[Grenades & Explosives#Choke Gas Bomb|Choke Gas Grenade]], whilst wearing [[Flak Armour]] for protection.

==Crunch==
On Necromunda, they are your standard gang champion, the Matriarch has access to any weapons a Queen can use, and has excellent stats with which to use them. Matriarchs are best used as your gang’s ranged damage dealers. So, a nice big gun and a potentially important back-up piece are key. Defensive skills like '''Spring Up''' and '''Dodge''' will help them survive and continue to fuck with people.
