The '''Geonid''' is a turtle-jawa from [[Dungeons & Dragons]]. It looks like a rock, it has a Stone Age society, and it is led by shamans. Despite having a shell of actual stone, it is carbon-based and will eat meat.

The Geonid appeared in the adventure module [[Desert Nomads series|X5: The Temple of Death]], although - like the [[dusanu]] - didn't join its buddies the Malfera or the [[Hengeyokai|Mujina]] for the Companion Set. The BXCMI Creature Catalogue collected them all, belatedly.

In Mystara, tribes live in the Great Pass between Hule and the Sind Desert; and somewhere south of Alfmyr in the Shadowlands.

The Geonid was updated to [[Advanced Dungeons & Dragons]] 2nd edition in the [[Mystara]] appendix for the Monstrous Compendium. They also appeared in 5e in the Tortle Package.
