The <s>[[Halo|Brute Chopper]]</s> Goliath Mauler is a new oversized killcycle used by [[House Goliath]], that definitely has ''no relations'' with a certain Halo vehicle whatsoever. <u>'''[[Original character, do not steal|NO RELATIONS]]'''</u>.

==Overview==

Trading speed and slick manoeuvrability for raw power and the ability to roll over rugged terrain – or other vehicles – the Mauler is the preferred vehicle for the quasi-[[Abhuman]]s in House Goliath, and they can thank its power ram and hybrid drive for getting the job done. These overdone killcycles can be modified to fit different Goliath's preferences. Some like their giant-ass front tyres to get a proper grip on the terrain, whilst others like to opt-out, instead, driving literally on the frontal shredder gears to [[RIP AND TEAR]] any poor sod that gets in the way.

The back of the Mauler is supported and propelled by two tank threads, to offer better stability, grip and a lower ground pressure to get over said aforementioned difficult terrain. For weapons, the Mauler can be equipped with either two [[Grenade Launcher#Grenade Launcher|Grenade Launcher]]s or two [[Bolt Rifle]]s.
==Crunch==
On Necromunda, the Mauler is a 100 credit light vehicle which could easily have been a bike. Featuring a 7” movement and T5/4 profile with 3 HP, a 5+ Handling, a 5+ Save, and a single Crew Operated forward-firing weapon point, it has two special rules. The first is '''Power Ram''', which adds 2 to the Strength, AP, and Damage of a vehicle impact involving the Front arc of the Mauler. With a 7” Movement characteristic this translates to a S7, AP -3, D3 hit.

Second it has '''Hybrid Drive''', which allows it to be counted as both a wheeled and tracked vehicle. It can start with twin-linked bolters for 65 credits, or a twin-linked grenade launcher with frag and krak grenades for 75 credits. Upgrade wise it has room for 2 body, 1 drive, and 1 engine upgrade.
