stub Grabnatz Sourbelly is an Goblin special character from the "Bugman's Lament" campaign that ran in the pages of White Dwarf, meaning he is intended to be a minor player in the grand history of greenskin heroes and not used outside of the special scenario, though of course you can do so if your opponent agrees. This Goblin Shaman regards himself as "The Gratist Goblin Mind of Iz Time", and is constantly experimenting with fungus-based alchemy, dreaming of surpassing the alchemical skills of the Empire and the Dwarfs. Unfortunately, most of what he produces is just unpalatable fungus alcohols, which have given him a notoriously chronic problem with flatulence that even other goblins think is gross. Paranoid of having his inventions stolen or of being forced to direct his "genius" to the whims of another, Grabnatz is forever shadowed by his loyal orc bodyguard, Gulag, who is so remarkably dumb that even other orcs thing he's stupid. Fortunately, what he lacks in brains he makes up for in loyalty, being uncommonly faithful for a greenskin, and in a skull you could probably beat through a dwarfin door with. In the game, Grabnatz and Gulag are bought as a team costing 181 points (140 for Grabnatz, 41 for Gulag) and using up a single Hero score between them. Grabnatz has Movement 4, Weapon Skill 2, Ballistic Skill 2, Strength 3, Toughness 3, Wounds 2, Initiative 2, Attacks 1 and Leadership 7. He's a level 2 Wizard who uses the Lore of the Little Waaagh and carries a Hand Weapon, the Staff of Sneaky Stealin' and Dangly Wotnotz (those being magic items from the 6e O&G army book). He has the special rule Gut Rot, which means you need to roll a d6 at the start of each Goblin turn; on a 4+, Grabnatz drops an enormous fart and so all models within a d6" range suffer a -1 to hit penalty for both close combat and shooting. This penalty afflicts foes and friends alike - we told you that this guy was considered gross even by goblins! Gulag, on the other hand has Movement 4, Weapon Skill 5, Ballistic Skill 6, Strength 4, Toughness 4, Wounds 2, Initiative 2, Attacks 2 and Leadership 7. He carries a Choppa and a Shield and wears Heavy Armor, and has the following special rules: ::Bodyguard: Gulag must always remain in base-to-base contact with Grabnatz and the two of them count as a single skirmishing unit for all purposes, though they can join a unit together. Roll a d6 for the first close combat or shooting attack that hits Grabnatz in each phase; on a 4+, Gulag takes the hit instead. ::Skunked Out: Gulag is immune to the To Hit penalty caused by Grabnatz's Gut Rot special rule - he's used to the foul-smelling little toad. ::Dead 'Ard 'Ed: Whenever Gulag takes a Wound, roll a D6; on a 6+, the Wound is ignored - your enemy made the mistake of trying to bash Gulag in the bonce! Grabnatz is the creator of the Fungas Loons, which are a 0-1 Special Choice in two of the Bugman's Lament scenarios and consist of 2-greenskin teams of drug-addled goblins trying to haul Grabnatz's homemade explosives into place.
