'''Ixion''' is an Immortal of the Sphere of Energy embodying the Sun in the [[Mystara]] setting for [[Dungeons & Dragons]]. His holy symbol, a giant flaming chariot wheel, is also his main mode of transportation. But instead of being strapped to it like his Greek namesake, he stands on top of it and rides it around like Goku's nimbus.

==History==
Ixion is one of the oldest Immortals. So old, in fact, that he claims he doesn't remember how he became immortal in the first place. He has been worshipped since ancient times by many different cultures (thus his long list of aliases).

He, alongside [[Ka the Preserver|Ka]], [[Ordana]], and [[Korotiku]], helped shape the Hollow World. Ixion's main task was the creation of a central sun for the world. He created one by opening a permanent portal to the Sphere of Energy that would always emit light and heat into the world.

==Personality==
Ixion is interested in knowledge for its own sake. He doesn't dictate any specific moral code to his followers, only asking that they do not help the Sphere of Entropy. He is passionate and has a fiery temper (get it? because sun god?). He is easily offended but also quick to forgive. He hates [[Atzanteotl]] for stealing his Azcan worshippers. He is the chief (but by no means the only) lover of [[Valerias]].

==Appearance==
Ixion appears as a member of whatever race he is speaking to. But he will always have glowing golden skin, hair and clothes, and flames spewing from his eye sockets. He also carries a flaming sword.
