As her title of "Mistress of the Hungry Moon" suggests, '''Jezelda''' is the [[Pathfinder]] [[Demon Prince]]ss of Desolation, the Moon and [[Werewolf|Werewolves]] - ''only'' werewolves, however, and in fact she hates all other forms of therianthrope, demanding that her worshippers sacrifice them to her. Goodly-aligned werebeasts, especially redeemed werewolves, are prize offerings on her altar. When such sacrifices aren't forthcoming, she simply demands that followers stand beneath the night sky and offer prayers to the moon as her avatar - if the moon isn't out, then they need to commit a sacrifice by ripping the throat out of another member of their own race and eating its warm flesh in order to attract her notice. When properly revered, she strengthens a supplicant's defenses so long as they stand beneath the moon, offering spell-like abilities to command, turn into or talk with wolves, and bestows lycanthropy upon a worthy supplicant - this even promotes an "afflicted" (created by someone else) werewolf into a true werewolf - or strengthens their lycanthropic nature.

Taking the form of, variously, a human woman, a massive, yellow-eyed she-wolf, or an emaciated [[werewolf]] with demonic horns, Jezelda rules over the Moonbog; a vast array of moors seperated by winding wetlands of bogs and fens, all held beneath an eternal night sky in which a massive full moon reigns supreme. The moors are stocked with countless isolated villages, populated with humanoids abducted from countless worlds, and Jezelda's followers work tirelessly to send more victims to the Moonbog to replenish these ravaged villages so that Jezelda's ravenous appetite will never succeed at completely depleting her stock of quarry.

Strangely, Jezelda does not claim to be either the first werewolf or the originator of that foul curse. Still, werewolves make up the majority of her faithful, though lunatics and the most debased of rural folk also offer paens of worship to this lupine monster.

Jezelda's unholy symbol depicts a full moon rising over a moor.
