'''Khala''' is the original God of Winter in the [[Nentir Vale]] setting of [[Dungeons & Dragons]]. The former wife of [[Zehir]] and mother of [[Kord]], she attempted to seize control over the [[Prime Material]] after the end of the [[Dawn War]] in an alliance with [[Gruumsh]] and [[Tiamat]]; this created what is known amongst scholars of the divine as the War of Winter. Eventually, Khala was overpowered and slain, resulting in her portfolio being scavenged by the [[Raven Queen]].

The War of Winter is stated to have been the final straw that led to the [[Primal Spirits]] banishing the gods to the [[Astral Sea]].
