'''Lliira''' is the Forgotten Realms goddess of joy, happiness, contentment, dance, festivals, and freedom. Not to be confused with [[Leira]].

==History==
Lliira, much like [[Lathander]], hasn't really had any major importance to the realms. The only time was during the [[Time of Troubles]], when she joined up with [[Waukeen]] and took her portfolio to allow her to travel the planes. She continued giving Waukeen's followers spells after her disappearance, and following her return, gave her portfolio back.

==Worshippers==
The joybringers, as Lliira's [[cleric]]s are known as, are easily recognized by their colorful and festive outfits. They seek to bring happiness to others, even if only momentarily, and prevent misery from spreading. There also exists the Order of the Scarlet Mummers, a militant order of Llira-worshiping assassins which formed to avenge the murder of one of Llira's high priestesses/lovers by a cult of [[Loviatar]], and is dedicated to hunting down agents of the Lady of Pain.

==Dogma==
Each day is another movement in the Elysian Rigadoon, the joyful dance of a life lived in rapture and without care or frustration. Seek joy always by working to bestow it upon others. Festivals are for all – gather into celebrations the lost, the lonely, the exiled and outlawed, the shunned, and even your foes. Let folk follow their own desires, and never fail to follow your own.
