The planet Apreia, once a thriving peaceful world bustling with life, agriculture and industry, now brought to its knees through violent fighting. Its industries halted and changed to fit the needs of the war effort. The Planetary Defense forces fought valiantly against the the onslaught of the Orkz, but could hold no longer. The call went out and was answered by many Imperial Guard regiments willing to defend the planet. The war went well in the first few months, but soon the tide began to turn as the Orkz unified under a newly appointed warboss. The Imperial Guard fought battle after losing battle, barely holding the line. A total of six million soldiers fought in the opening days of the war, a mere six years later, and hardly half remain. Imperial forces are scattered and putting up what resistance they can, but with the Imperial Navy tied up, precious few supplies and manpower can be brought to the fight. The 89th Cadian Heavy infantry regiment was tasked with holding the lands south of the Great City Endelus. Taking the brunt of the WAAAGH the regiment was fragmented into two bodies. Several companies manages to hold in the north, but the rest were pushed into the Goben desert and scattered. During a few quite weeks, the scattered companies to the south would receive relief, by way of manpower, and desperately needed supplies. ==Episodes== *Men of the 89th Chapter 1 *Men of the 89th Chapter 2 *Men of the 89th Chapter 3 *Men of the 89th Chapter 4
