Messelina Gloriana is one of the several planets a player can roleplay in Warhammer 40K: Darktide. They are one of the two most notable shrine worlds of the Moebian Domain, of which more can be read below. ==Overview== A heavily-forested moon that serves as a minor shrine world. Messelina Gloriana has few resources and low population, but is strategically important since the fall of nearby Komaris. Now exactly what Komaris was, we have no clue. Compared to the more urban and temperate Crucis, Messelina Gloriana is more of a 40k Forest Moon of Endor. A barely settled, wild world with a few cathedrals here and there with more munitions and guardsmen than temples and priests. So it is actually more accurate to call this world a savage world or frontier world than an actual shrine world. Nevertheless, as aforementioned, it is considered strategic by the Imperium, so a shit ton of Imperial assets are located on the world to better defend it from what assumes to be Failbaddon's naughty hijinks. Ergo, it is more heavily armed than Crucis. Other than that, that's all we know from this planet. Seriously, no need to expand that much on it. If you want to LARP as a more rednecked zealot of an ex-Guardsmen, Messelina Gloriana would work as a better roleplay template than Crucis. Clear
