Editing Palatine

A Palatine (or Sister Palatine)(unrelated to the Tyrant of [[Chogoris]])(also unrelated to the [https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Darth_Sidious Sheev]) is basically, for all intents and purposes, a diet [[Canoness]]. These chicks are an [[Sisters of Battle|Adepta Sororitas]] battlefield commander who works under a Canoness to coordinate their Order's forces.

Though not as high as a Prioress or Canoness, Palatines are nonetheless experienced enough and capable enough to be an effective member capable of leading and inspiring their Battle Sisters. For better context, they are akin to [[Space Marine]] Lieutenants in their role.

== Tabletop ==
Crunchwise on 9th Edition, they take the role of the [[Primaris Lieutenant]]. Her aura gives you the ever-valuable "re-roll 1s to wound" aura so typical to lieutenant-types, but her armaments are pretty barebones: a [[Bolt Pistol]] and [[Power Weapon#Power Sword|Power Sword]] with the option to replace the pistol with a [[Plasma Pistol]]. This means she's a better support than a Canoness (the same aura but better because it works on flamers, and for fewer points) but a worse beatstick, so if you have both, stick the Palatine in the back for support and either have the Canoness do the same or take a murder loadout and get closer to the enemy.
