Pente (pent-tay) is a Classic game of skillz. Very similar to the ancient game Gomoku, Pente's basic principle is to connect five beads (hence the Greek word for five) in a vertical or horizontal row. Players can also win by capturing 10 of another player's pieces. Players take pieces by placing a bead on both sides of another players two beads. The game was previously considered the Game Of The Gods, due to its ancient Greek appearance. However, the game was only made in 1977 by a bunch of assholes who take joy in confusing children with complex game rules. Pente can cause extreme cases of euphoria, rage, sorrow, and overall awesomeness. There was a recorded event in Virginia when a fateful game of Pente caused such an explosion of emotion and exclamations that a following game of checkers caused a series of Face-Air Humpings. The youth that received the Blast of victorious manliness in the face had developed a psychic-whiplash after the event. A song in honor of the great game: Come one, come all, and play this game. Come one, come all, to seek your fame. Whether you come to cheer or play, You can find both thanks to Pente. The ancient Greeks and Gods report The sacred and holy name of this sport. Tiss a game of strength and skill, But itโs also played for the thrill. Connect the holy jewels of fate, Or capture ten of those you hate. Just two at a time, but donโt take to long, Or else your next move may be wrong. As fun as a pun, as sweet as a song, You will find this is what we play; It always is true, it never is wrong, The Game of the Gods, Pente. So come one and all, to join this game. Come one, come all, to make your fame. Whether you came to cheer or play, You will do both if you join Pente!
