NeedsImages Philip K. Dick was an American Science-Fiction writer who wrote about 44 books during his lifetime. His books are actually really good, as one of them (The Man in The High Castle) got a TV show of the same name and another (Do Robots Dream of Electric Sheep) became the basis of the movie Blade Runner, meaning that this dude literally created cyberpunk. This is brought back around in modern day with the popular character Rebecca in the Netflix anime "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners" adaption of the Cyberpunk setting by R. Talsorian Games having his name tattooed on her thigh, although most folks at first just thought it was a penis joke due to her being a former member of The Mox prostitute gang. Books: The Man in the High Castle: It's basically a dystopia novel where the axis wins WW2 and split the US into three zones, with the central zone being neutral territory. Do Robots Dream of Electric Sheep?: Blade Runner: the Book Ubik Vulcan's hammer (not that one)
