dnd-stub Ravenfolk are, as the name suggests, a race of humanoid ravens native to the Northlands in the setting of Midgard for Pathfinder 1st edition and Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition. Secretive and mistrustful of outsiders, who share that suspicion and loathing right back, ravenfolk claim a direct connection to Wotan the Rune Father, the Odin-analog god of the Northlands, but at the same time are literally a race of thieves who are constantly plucking baubles and secrets from the world around them. Despite this, their word is their bond, which is one of the few reasons why they are permitted to live amongst other races. Much like the kenku, ravenloft are flightless avians, having a raven's head, tail and plumage adorning an otherwise bipedal, humanoid body, with forearms and legs that resemble the black-scaled talons of a raven. ==5e PC Stats== ::Ability Score Increase: +2 Dexterity, +1 Charisma ::Size: Medium ::Speed: 30 feet ::Sudden Attack: You have Advantage on Attack Rolls against Surprised creatures. ::Mimicry: You can mimic any sound you have heard, allowing you to make auditory bluff checks as a Charisma (Deception) check opposed by the Passive Wisdom (Insight) of listeners. ::Trickster: You have Proficiency in Deception and Stealth. ==Sublime Ravenfolk== The Book of Ebon Tides introdues a newly emergent subrace of ravenfolk that have begun to appear in the the Shadow Realm. Followers of a mystery cult called the Seekers of the Sublime, these ravenfolk claim to have been drawn across the plains by a mysterious psychic song. Still largely a mystery, they possess very unique racial abilities. ::Ability Score Increase: +2 Dexterity, +1 Charisma ::Size: Medium ::Speed: 30 feet ::Constant Time: You have Advantage on saving throws against being Charmed or Frightened. ::Cosmic Musician: You have Proficiency in the Performance skill and one musical instrument of your choice. ::Sublime Chord: Once per long rest, as an action, you can can issue a mystic song. All creatures within 30 feet capable of hearing this song must pass a DC 13 C harisma save or be Charmed by you for 10 minutes (they have Advantage on the save if you use this ability whilst actively fighting them). A charmed creature views you as a casual friend. ==Gallery== <gallery> Ravenfolk scout ToB.jpg|CAW! Ravenfolk warrior ToB.png </gallery>
