Shivvers are House Escher Psyker agents with uncanny foresight. Once a Shivver has set up residence in a gang’s hideout, they may bless a fighter with their precognition. ==Overview== Whilst not on the same levels as a Eldar Farseer, in the close confines and smaller scale of Necromunda, the Shivver is Escher's go-to fortune teller and psychic support. For all intents and purposes, a Shivver is Escher's name for a Warp-Seer, so she is quite valuable to the House when it comes to precognition and battling other psychic entities. Usually a Shivver is often a preferred option for sisters who wish not to turn into the Corpse Bride from a Chymist, so they opt for the former instead. Again, like all fortune tellers, one should remain skeptical on their divinations as, whilst a Shivver's glimpses of the future can save a gang from calamities or lead them to great riches, they may also 'accidentally' mislead them to disaster. In terms of equipment, it is what you expect. The Shivver is bedecked with the artefacts of her fortune-telling craft, from cards of the Emperor's Tarot to a psi-crystal orb carried by a hovering servo-skull, with an impressive headdress of cybernetic cables extending from her cranium. ==Crunch== On Necromunda, at a whopping 100 credits, the Shivver is a very expensive non-combatant who can allow a champion or leader to visit a post-battle phase to roll 2d6 for one of six weighted results. Among the possibilities includes: *Immediately go into Recovery. *Re-roll 1s on ranged attacks in the next battle. *Hire a free Bounty Hunter for the next battle alongside his/her's free gear. *Double their XP earned in the next battle, as well as doubling their gang’s credits and Reputation gain. Remember, she is <u>THE</u> ultimate support unit in Necromunda. As in, she is utterly and hopelessly defenceless. So she better be protected as much as Sanguinius's sarcophagus if you want her to survive, because she is an excellent support unit that just gives free buffs each turn. Even the bad one ain't that bad all things considered. House Escher
