'''Skiggaret''' is the insane [[bugbear]] god of fear, which Bugbears believe he actually creates. See, Bugbears are powerful creatures, and they aren't used to being in mortal danger. So when they ''are'', the unfamiliar sensation of fear is considered to be a form of madness brought about by Skiggaret possessing the bugbear, leading them to perform acts of cowardice.

He rules the 241st Layer of the [[Abyss]], Palpitatia, a realm of eternal darkness populated by [[shadow]]s and [[spectre]]s. He also lets fellow bugbear deity [[Grankhul]], who has no realm of his own, crash on the couch here.
