The Snake-Knight was a large, serpentine figure with a carapace that resembled orange armor. It is said to have over 50 legs and to be over 300 feet long, with numerous tendril-like tongues that paralyze. A small unnamed settlement on the outskirts of Aes Kalon was completely decimated by the beast, which suddenly appeared from the brush one night. It devoured several Hunters, Magineers, and Settlers in the process. A distress call was forwarded towards Aes Kalon before the entire settlement went offline. The signal was accidentally leaked to the public, sparking terror in the denizens despite the Wildsbane. Action was demanded, so a large regiment of Hunters, Magisters, and Magineers was sent towards the last signal sent. The city populace sat by their radios, intently listening to the sounds of the rescue attempt. What they heard was a low hissing noise that gradually grew louder. Suddenly, screams and the sounds of swords on plate filled their households. And they hadn’t even reached the site of the settlement yet. A retreat was called as the men run desperately for the safety of the Wildsbane. Citizens gathered at the city limits, watching from atop roofs and city walls. Horror sank in as the saw the beast speed headlong into the Wildsbane’s area of effect, it killed dozens before finally beginning to slow down and show signs of pain. As quickly as it had arrived, the beast fled back into the brush. It has not been seen since. Back to [[The Endless Wilds]]
