'''The Great Ocean''' (or '''World Pond''' to [[Lizardmen]]) is the Warhammer World's analogue of the Atlantic Ocean. It's also the only ocean with known history - it was created by the [[Old Ones (Warhammer)|Old Ones]] during the realisation of their great plan (which is also a real-life reference to an emergence of the Atlantic Ocean in the middle Mesosoic).
 
On its East side is Bretonnia, Estalia, Araby and the Western Southlands. On its west is Eastern Naggaroth and Lustria. [[Ulthuan]], [[Albion]] and several smaller islands are situated in it, it is salty and is home to [[Merwyrm|merwyrms]] and a large number of fish.
