Part of the [[The_Post-Apocalyptic_Roadmap|Post-Apocalyptic Roadmap]] Project. ==Nashua== Here, have some coffee. That's the last of my Dunkin's, so don't spill it. You're in Nashua, New Hampshire. How long you been on the road? Shit. Boston's still glowing, huh? This here used to be the Pheasant Lane Mall, but now it's sort of an army base and refugee center. The old stores are our barracks, stripped of goods and filled with bedding from the many local furniture stores. We had a lot of them. I can still hear the jungles. We get plenty coming from New York and such, it's been slow the past year. We have water, filtered from the local rivers. We grow most of our own food, there's a lot of farmland in the hills, and we've got a few greenhouses built in the parking lots. Think you can manage solids? Here, try this. No, it ain't beef. We're calling it rover. See, we had a lot of dog breeders here, before Boston lit up. After the 'Marts ran out of meat, we had to try different sources. There's a ''lot'' of deer out there, but deer can't smell radiation and ain't safe to eat. ==Rochester== We've come through pretty well, what with the Thompson/Center gun factory in town and all. We supply rifles to all the local militias within 50 miles. We've started to rebuild some of the mills, and we just finished the waterwheel generator downtown, along the Cocheco. We trade with the folks in Maine, and we're in a loose sorta alliance with some of the other cities in the area, Dover and Somersworth and Farmington. Portsmouth is a hellhole, the military's holed up in the shipyard, getting supplied by sea, and there's some troops sent up by those Pegasus bastards trying to starve them out. They say there's some nukes in there, or a nuclear submarine or something. All I know for sure is both sides keep trying to retake this area, but it hasn't worked out for them so far. We also got pretty lucky in regards to fallout. The way the wind patterns work, it gets funneled up through here, but it mostly stays in the upper atmosphere, and I suppose it falls over the Atlantic. [[Category:The Post-Apocalyptic Roadmap]]
