Speech given to new battle brothers, year 742 of the 39th millennium: "Today, you become members not just of a regiment, or a chapter, but of a brotherhood.
The Emperor's blood runs through us all, it binds us together in His service, forever to spread the glory of His word amongst the stars.
We are His sons, and we strive to honor this parentage, to be judged worthy in His eyes. But we have other parents, who take the word of The Emperor as that of a man, as merely words rather than the unshakable truth contained within.
We must never forget the weaknesses of our older brothers, the Dark Angels, and we must be ever watchful of traitors and treacherous heretics even in our own midst.
Our faith must burn as bright as the sun of Terra, lest we be consumed by the petty vengeance that has laid claim to the thoughts of our older brothers. Therefore, you must first of all view the heretic with disgust, for he has rejected that which is most holy.
View the Dark Angels with pity, for their thirst for vengeance has clouded their vision of The Emperor's glory.
And view your brothers with suspicion, lest we lose our way as well. Now we stand on the precipices of another great crusade.
The Eldar have come to this most sacred world, burning The Emperor's chapels and slaughtering His most devoted followers, something we cannot allow.
Today, we are all brothers as we deliver The Emperor's glorious vengeance upon them, regardless of chapter, rank or regiment.
Today we will show those vile creatures what the sons of The Emperor are capable of.
Today, War Brother or Templar, The Emperor's eyes will watch us all. To the pods, my brothers! Make sure He is not ashamed!"
