The Tzaangors of Sortiarius wield a variety of unique bladed weapons that has been twisted and warped by the raw empyrean nature of the Warp itself. Each blade is as elegant and as master-crafted as an Eldar sword. Yet they are all steeped with deep malevolence and its graceful design betrays the savage nature of the Beastmen themselves. ===Tzaangor Blade=== The basic close combat weapon of the Tzaangors. These mystical swords bear the symbol of Tzeentch and are made from the warped bones and metals on Sortiarius. The blades of the Tzaangors come in a myriad of different patterns, each slightly different from its sister weapon; befitting the God of Change himself. Tzaangor Blades are often hooked and barbed to create a wicked visage. The blades are often of clean silver with a hint of blue, though such cleanliness would be quickly drenched in blood and gore. On tabletop, Tzaangor Blades are essentially Chainswords with AP-1, this is true for all other weapons wielded by the Tzaangors, up to and including the greatblades, axes and mauls. You can also swap the Tzaangor Blade with a regular Tzaangor Chainsword, but who the hell wants to swap the Blade for an overall inferior weapon? ===Tzaangor Axe=== The Tzaangor Axe is a weapon that is usually crescent shaped in one way or another. These axes bear the symbol of Tzeentch and are made from the warped bones and metals on Sortiarius. No two Tzaangor Axes are the same, befitting the God of Change himself. Tzaangor Axes are often duel-wielded/two-handed in order increase the rate of successful attacks at the expense of carrying a shield or pistol. This is made possible for the relatively short length of the Axe and the relatively light weight of the weapon. On tabletop, Tzaangor Axes are essentially Chainswords with AP-1, this is true for all other weapons wielded by the Tzaangors, up to and including the greatblades, blades and mauls. You can also swap the Tzaangor Axe with a regular Tzaangor Chainsword, but who the hell wants to swap the Axe for an overall inferior weapon? ===Tzaangor Maul=== The Tzaangor Maul is a large and brutish weapon that is bladed on all sides. These mauls bear the symbol of Tzeentch and are made from the warped bones and metals on Sortiarius. The maul is large enough that a Tzaangor must wield it two-handed at all times to make it viable. Tzaangor Mauls often resemble several Tzaangor Axes fused together and reinforced. The purpose of which is to combine the bludgeoning blow of a maul with the cutting power of an axe or blade. Combine these together and the Tzaangor Maul proves to be one savage weapon capable of cracking even power armor like an egg. On tabletop, Tzaangor Mauls are essentially Chainswords with AP-1, this is true for all other weapons wielded by the Tzaangors, up to and including the greatblades, blades and axes. You can also swap the Tzaangor Maul with a regular Tzaangor Chainsword, but who the hell wants to swap the Maul for an overall inferior weapon? ===Tzaangor Greataxe=== The Tzaangor Greataxe is the Tzaangor Axe's big sister. These greataxes bear the symbol of Tzeentch and are made from the warped bones and metals on Sortiarius. The double-headed Tzaangor Greataxe is designed to split open heavy armor with contemptuous ease. Unlike its little brother, the Tzaangor Great Axe cannot be dual-wielded due to its size. Instead, the Tzaangor must use both hands in order wield this weapon effectively. As such, the Greataxe is a monstrous weapon on the battlefield. On tabletop, Tzaangor Greataxes are essentially Chainswords with AP-1, this is true for all other weapons wielded by the Tzaangors, up to and including the greatblades, blades, mauls and axes. You can also swap the Tzaangor Greataxe with a regular Tzaangor Chainsword, but who the hell wants to swap the Greataxe for an overall inferior weapon? ===Tzaangor Greatblade=== The Tzaangor Greatblade is the big brother of the Tzaangor Blade. These mystical greatswords bear the symbol of Tzeentch and are made from the warped bones and metals on Sortiarius. The sheer length of the Tzaangor Greatblade means that it can only be wielded two-handed on the battlefield. Due to its sheer size, the Tzaangor Greatblade is designed to brutishly bisect or impale whole groups of enemies at once. Unlike the Tzaangor Blade, which is more artistic in its fighting technique, the Tzaangor Greatblade closely resembles the Tzaangor Maul in sheer balls-out power. On tabletop, Tzaangor Greatblades are essentially Chainswords with AP-1, this is true for all other weapons wielded by the Tzaangors, up to and including the mauls, blades and axes. You can also swap the Tzaangor Greatblade with a regular Tzaangor Chainsword, but who the hell wants to swap the Greatblade for an overall inferior weapon?
