The Eldar only has one known class of Battleship called the Void Stalker. The Void Stalker represents the pinnacle of Eldar technology and many are known to have taken part in the Gothic War. When the Eldar pirate fleets allied with Lord Admiral Ravensburg after the Battle of Gethsemane, the Void Stalkers were brought into service, previously not having been seen during the entire war. They are strong and powerful with various weapons including Pulsar Lances, Eldar Weapons Batteries and Eldar Launch Bays with Darkstar Fighters and Eagle Bombers. Other Void Stalkers during the Gothic War pursued personal vendettas while the whole region was in turmoil. They are most commonly used by Eldar Corsairs rather than Craftworlders due to the fact that Craftworlders already has access to a bloody Craftworld of all things. One such Void Stalker, the Ynnead's Dream, is the capital-ship of the Ynnari fleet, and also acts as their base of command. The Void Stalker is armed with a total of 4 Launch Bays carrying Darkstar Fighters and Eagle Bombers, 4 Heavy Starcannon Artillery and 4 Heavy Pulsar Lance Beams. *Length: 10-12km; approx *Mass: 39 megatonnes; approx *Crew: 35,000 crew, including 20,000 pilots and support staff; approx *Acceleration: 7-8 gravities maximum sustainable acceleration == In Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 1 & 2 == In BF:A. the Void Stalker is the Eldar Corsair's only heavy hitter (A bit better than their Craftworld cousins which lack any Battleships whatsoever). While the Voidstalker doesn't massively increase the dps from the Cruiser class options, packing in quad launch bays, an extra engine and nearly twice the hull points it is a lightning-quick behemoth capable of ripping apart smaller line ships with ease. The Voidstalker's biggest selling point has to be the extended range of its weapons, the only ones on any of the Corsair ships that have a base range over 9,000 units. This means the Voidstalker can devastate enemy vessels from well outside normal identification range and just outside the range of an escort's scanner ability. The one downside is, of course, the extreme points cost, limiting the number you can field at once to really only one under most reasonable circumstances. Having 2 Voidstalkers would only leave you just over 200 points in a normal-sized fleet and having extended ranged weapons isn't as useful if you don't have other ships to help with spotting. You could use the interceptors, but leaving the bays available to deploy bombers more often does a big boost to your offensive power.
