FailHurfDurf Why, TSR. Why? WHHYYYY!? Oh... right. Jean Rabe (no relation to John Rabe who was awesome) and "Rubbish-Skip" Williams dumped WG10: Child's Play upon the Greyhawk community in 1989. Said community was already unhappy with WG9: Gargoyles, another Skip (co-)entry; although in that case, the argument could be made that, hey, low-level intro module. Not this one. It was meant for levels 13 to 15. Should be epic, right? And there was a second-edition out, which product did need the higher-level love... Here in the magical Kingdom of Retcon we mean, Rhesdain, in the "Yetils" meaning Yatils, some scions of the ruling house are claiming THE CAKE IS A LIE and that the true Constitution, three centuries standing, demands democracy. Okay, spoiler-alert, although why should you even care. spoilers The aristo-brats are lying and Queen Joanna's kingdom is what she and her grandmother the queen-emeritus Amber Lune have said it is: a kingdom (although the document, Protocols of the Elders style, is based on a real document). The millennials want to take over... as oligarchs like the Roman Senate did to the Tarquins of old. Also the crown allows life-extension which the Divine Right monarchs deserve and the millennials haven't yet earned. So, er. Based? The Queen doesn't have the documentation to prove the forgery - but she has a good idea who does: Maw-Maw. Amber Lune is done with politics but Her Majesty's Indispensable <strike>Pool Boy</strike> Minister, the ranger Wolf, might be able to find this one. Enter the party. Wolf has, sadly, been turned into a ... rabbit, courtesy the millennials. And he has an enemy: Demon Prince Yeenoghu. The gnoll lord is out to hunt evwy last wabbit in the kingdom until he gets revenge on this ranger. So the party has to... look for... rabbit hunters. Dear. Fucking. GOD. TSR couldn't sell WG10 any more than they could sell WG9 (or, soon, WG11); so for several years afterward, any Greyhawk fan wanting their fix had this shitfest staring at his face at the game-store, daring him to open it. It wouldn't be long until the whole WG- prefix was disgraced such that TSR had to use others. Nowadays TSR literally cannot give it away; you can read it at archive.org. Don't say we did not warn you.
