'''The Eternal Wheel's Flight Style'''
A rather unusual Martial Arts style practiced by those who enjoy the use of a Yo-yo as a weapon. Surprisingly, those who practice this Style can turn the Yo-yo from a mere toy into a deadly weapon (although many enjoy simply doing tricks with them and develop the lethal techniques by accident due to copious amounts of practice). The Form Weapon of this style is, of course, the Yo-yo, and a practitioner of this Style may ONLY use this Style with a Yo-yo, its techniques simply do not work for any other type of weapon. Armor with a mobility penalty of any sort interferes too much with the fast movements required for this Style.
'''Name:'''Sleeping Dragon/Walk the Dog
'''Cost:''' 2m per tick maintained
'''Mins:''' Martial Arts 2, Essence 1
'''Type:''' Extra Action
'''Keywords:''' Combo-OK
'''Duration:''' Varies
'''Prerequisite Charms: None'''
'''What it does:'''
This Charm forms one of the backbones of the Eternal Wheel's Flight Style, representing a mastery of "Sleeping" with a Yo-yo: The act of causing the Yo-yo to continue spinning at the end of the fully extended string (acting like a sort of small chainsaw or repeated bludgeon when used in combat). Functionally, this attack is an unusual form of Extra Action charm, rather than taking place all in one action, it is a sustained attack. The Martial Artist may spend 2 motes per tick (including the tick this charm was activated) for up to (Essence + 2) ticks to make an attack on each of those ticks they pay the mote cost for. This charm ends on the first tick the Martial Artist does not pay the mote cost on. ''Comment: This charm is retarded as for 2m you're getting a 1-tick attack. Combo this with anything and it'll be insanely OP.'' '''Name:'''Leaping Dragon/Rebound Catch
'''Cost:'''4m
'''Mins:''' Martial Arts 3, Essence 2
'''Type:'''Simple (Speed 4)
'''Keywords:'''Combo-OK
'''Duration:'''Instant
'''Prerequisite Charms:'''Sleeping Dragon/Walk the Dog
'''What it does:'''
A practitioner of the Eternal Wheel's Flight Style can truly earn the use of the word "flight" with this charm. They launch the Yo-yo disk from its string and rebound it off a target before expertly grabbing and recalling it with the string. The Martial Artist may make an attack again one opponent within (Essence * 10) yards. ''Comment: 4m for a ranged attack? Rather pricy.'' '''Name:'''Grappling Dragon/Weapon Loop
'''Cost:'''6m, 1wp
'''Mins:''' Martial Arts 3, Essence 2
'''Type:''' Simple
'''Keywords:''' Combo-OK
'''Duration:''' Instant
'''Prerequisite Charms:'''Sleeping Dragon/Walk the Dog
'''What it does:'''
A practitioner of the Eternal Wheel's Flight Style may entangle their opponent's weapons with the string of the Yo-yo and pull the weapon away. This Charm allows the Martial Artist to disarm without the usual -2 penalty. The charm does not allow the Martial Artist to take or break the weapon, but they may choose in which direction it lands (which will be 5 +1 per additional success yards away from its wielder). ''Comment: Combo grappling & sleeping dragons- disarm foe for 1-tick action, pick up their weapon before they can act. GG anyone you're facing with a non-unarmed martial arts style' '''Name:'''Eternal Wheel's Flight Form
'''Cost:''' 4m
'''Mins:''' Martial Arts 4, Essence 2
'''Type:''' Simple (Speed 3, DV -1)
'''Keywords:''' Form-type, Obvious
'''Duration:'''One Scene
'''Prerequisite Charms:'''Grappling Dragon/Weapon Loop, Leaping Dragon/Rebound Catch
'''What it does:'''
The martial Artist has their Yo-yo in constant movement, whether they are circling themselves with it or holding it "Sleeping", it is never sitting still in their hand. This Essence enhanced movement allows the Yo-yo to be almost anywhere around the Martial Artist at a moment's notice. For the Duration of the Scene, the Martial Artist reduces the mote cost of the Sleeping Dragon/Walk the Dog charm to 1 mote per tick and reduces the speed of their Yo-yo (or Yo-yos, if they are mad enough to dual-wield them) by 2. Furthermore, for the duration of the scene the Martial Artist may parry lethal attacks with a Yo-yo, including attacks from weapons with the Reach Tag. ''Comment: 1 mote for a speed 1 attack.'' '''Name:''' Flickering Dragon/Unbalancing Rebound
'''Cost:''' 4m
'''Mins:''' Martial Arts 4, Essence 2
'''Type:''' Reflexive (Step 2)
'''Keywords:''' Combo-OK, Obvious
'''Duration:'''Instant
'''Prerequisite Charms:'''Eternal Wheel's Flight Form
'''What it does:'''
A practitioner of the Eternal Wheel's Flight Style hones their reflexes to a razors edge, to the point where they may flick out their Yo-yo in response to an opponent's strike, knocking it harmlessly off-course. The Martial Artist may add their Essence to their Parry DV against a single attack. ''Comment: Possibly too pricy given seven shadows evasion's cost for a perfect.'' '''Name:''' Weaving Dragon/Cat's Cradle
'''Cost:''' 6m
'''Mins:''' Martial Arts 4, Essence 2
'''Type:''' Supplemental
'''Keywords:''' Combo-OK, Obvious
'''Duration:'''Instant
'''Prerequisite Charms:'''Eternal Wheel's Flight Form
'''What it does:'''
A martial Artist using this charm seems to have entangled their own weapon and left themselves open, but when the enemy moves in to strike, they get quite a surprise. This charm supplements a MA attack with a Yo-yo, causing the target's DVs to be halved for the attack. '''Name:''' Defending Dragon/Shimmering Shield
'''Cost:''' 8m, 1wp
'''Mins:''' Martial Arts 4, Essence 3
'''Type:''' Reflexive
'''Keywords:''' Combo-OK, Obvious
'''Duration:'''One Scene
'''Prerequisite Charms:'''Flickering Dragon/Unbalancing Rebound
'''What it does:'''
The Martial Artist empowers their Yo-yo with essence and begins to swirl it in front of them at incredible speeds, forming a glittering shield of Essence. For the duration of the scene they may add their Essence to their Bashing and Lethal Soak. '''Name:''' Biting Dragon/Puncture Strike
'''Cost:''' 6m
'''Mins:''' Martial Arts 4, Essence 3
'''Type:''' Supplemental
'''Keywords:''' Combo-OK, Obvious
'''Duration:'''Instant
'''Prerequisite Charms:'''Weaving Dragon/Cat's Cradle
'''What it does:'''
Armor is often an issue with a weapon such as a Yo-yo, which neither pierces the armor nor is so devastating as to simply overpower it, this charm is the practitioner of the Eternal Wheel's Flight Style's answer to armor. This charm supplements a MA attack with a Yo-yo, charging it with enough Essence to give it the power to punch through armor and gain the Piercing Tag. '''Name:'''Encircling Dragon/Round the World
'''Cost:''' 12m, 1wp
'''Mins:''' Martial Arts 5, Essence 3
'''Type:''' Simple (Speed 4)
'''Keywords:''' Combo-OK, Obvious
'''Duration:''' Instant
'''Prerequisite Charms:'''Biting Dragon/Puncture Strike, Defending Dragon/Shimmering Shield
'''What it does:'''
The Martial Artist uses their incredible skill at rebounding the Yo-yo combined with their impressive reflexes to make an attack against every enemy within their reach. The Martial Artist may make one attack against every viable target within their Yo-yo's range (this may include inanimate objects, and indeed they are often used to correctly angle rebounds to strike living foes).
