{{/tg/-Heresy-Head}} {{Infobox 40k Planet |name=Zaxen Primus |bgcolor=darkblue |fgcolor=yellow |image= |class=Forge World |orbdist= |gravity= |temp= |pop=2,000,000,000 |governor=Executor Maximus |system= |sector=Nochmis |subsector= |segmentum=Pacificus }} ''Commonly, I see that other Forgeworlds make the tools of war. Some foundries craft weaponry, others munitions, a few armor. Zaxen makes warriors themselves. - Sub-Executor Beatrix The stalwart inhabitants of Zaxen tirelessly work on perfecting the principle weapon that is used to wage war: Soldiers. A fundamentally martial driven Forgeworld, Zaxen was tested in a crucible of endless warfare of a scope that would engulf lesser planets. Rather than being forced to back down, the Tech-Priests would begin a renaissance of cybernetic infused biological warriors. Due to a lack of contact with the Mechanicum for most of the Great Crusade, Zaxen developed apart from the rest of the Machine Cult. The planet's loyalty to the Imperium is unquestionable however, as their involvement in the Scouring cemented this. ==History== Zaxen was not created under the most agreeable of circumstances. Much of the force sent out by the Mechancium on Mars became lost in the turbulent warp storms that covered the Galaxy during the Age of Strife. When the colonists found the sub-Earth world of Zaxen, it was their last resort. Extensive damage to their ships left with no option, as food stock was running at an all time low. The planet had no fauna, and very little flora. There are currently no records on how the Zaxenite Priesthood survived this period. However after a short century of tedious recycling salvation came in the form of a comet. Using their ships to knock the comet into orbit of Zaxen, frozen ice was scavenged to help them survive. During this time the Zaxenites were quite meek. Many had become weakened due to limited rationing, with their menial population reduced to a fraction of what it was. The prime concern of the populace was mere existence, eking it out what little life they could so far away from the Sol System. This would forever be changed when a race calling itself the ''Scul'' arrived. Zaxen was once one of their colonies they had abandoned, and were insulted by the presence of the Tech-Priests. Lashing out violently, they overwhelmed the humble defenses taking what they wished. Whatever ships were left from the exodus were stripped bare, leaving the Zaxenites truly stranded. Rather than bend down to this new force, the Priests had enough. What few menials they had were endlessly experimented upon, and raised up from birth to serve them. Several Priests sacrificed themselves in the pursuit of progress, their parts cannibalized due to ridiculous scarcity.
