	These guys huff and breathe the Book of Judgement so much, that they are able to memorise nearly every legal code and precedent in that book (And it is a ''big ass book'' mind you) with ease. Anyone who is found wanting would get promptly [[Blam\|kissed the barrel's end]] of a [[Bolt Pistol]] if found guilty. Nevertheless, because of the role of the Arbites, Judges don't really give a shit for minor personal misdemeanours, leaving those matters in the hands of a Planetary Governor's [[Enforcer Security Force]] to handle. An Arbites Judge is the <s>[[Judge Dredd|shameless Judge Dredd]] [[Original character, do not steal|rip-offs]]</s> head honchos of the [[Adeptus Arbites]]. Only the most competent and promising Arbitrators are promoted to this esteemed and powerful rank.

Their authority extends to within the [[Adeptus Terra]] and they are free to execute both Planetary rulers and Adepts if they are shown to be committing transgressions. On most Imperial worlds, Judges usually reside within the Hall of Judgement of an Adeptus Arbites courthouse where they monitor both the population and the planetary government. Despite their infamous reputation and brutal nature, Judges are actually fairer than [[Inquisitor]]s and will often pass judgements based on law and fairness (And, when you compare them to the likes of [[Fyodor Karamazov|Inquisitor Crazy Pants-off]], they really are pretty fair if rigid, all things considered).
