This changed however, when a great disaster caused Aventus to sink beneath the sea. Aventernus then turned those humans faithful to him to the first Aventi, turning him into the god he is now.<br /> <br /> ==Worshippers==<br /> Most aventi worship Aventernus as the races savior, and the upper class tends be made of his [[cleric]]s and [[paladin]]s, with many believing Aventernus appoints them himself.<br /> <br /> ===Knights of the Pearl===<br /> Knights of the Pearl are a paladin order dedicated to defending the aventi and serving the kings of their settlement. They take the defense and prosperity as their sacred charge. They only recruit from those who have a history of defending their race, using their strength to benefit those who are weaker, and show a talent for channeling and manipulating positive energy.
