The Leagues, while usually not as outright vigilant and hostile towards xenos like the ~~imperium~~, shows a general disregard to their Galactic neighbors, caring only for themselves, and ~~steam rolling~~ anyone standing in their way, willingly or not. Despite the many millennia that has passed, it is clear as day that the Leagues have inherited the expansionist and colonialist attitudes from their ~~daot~~ ancestors, along with much of their culture and tech. Of course, we still definitely have examples of ~~daot~~ civilizations actually being pretty chummy with their xenos neighbors, but it seems as though the infection of arrogance had spread far and wide throughout human space.
