			Fluff on this is incredibly inconsistent, and varies from author to author, and indeed story to story. You can find sources saying its a specialized artificial that the AdMech gave the Kriegers and is basically fine. And you can find stories cloning technology so heretical and vile that it’s very existence is one of the highest secrets of the [[Inquisition]] and its use so forbidden that it even gave Jurten pause and that the fact that they were created in this way is one of the secret shames Kriegers want to die to expunge. Which is true? It’s 40k, baby! There’s no consistent canon, no matter how much you want there to be.
