			Pathfinder introduced their own variant of the Evangelist Prestige Class in Inner Sea Gods, though with different requirements. This version only required a player to be within a step of their chosen god's alignment in order to qualify. Since this could be chosen for any class, not only did it allow for some weird combinations for Evangelists, but it also permitted some class features to still level up while they were in this class. This also opens access to Divine Boons, special gifts each god gives to their favored servants - otherwise only found by taking the Deific Obedience feats.

			These Evangelists lack the armor training of regular clerics and only get one domain to choose from, but instead gain [[Bard\|Bardic Performance]] as an additional resource that develops as they level up and Perform as a class skill. That said, this does interfere a bit with the progression of Channel Divine Energy.

			Evangelists can spontaneously cast some spells, but none of them are for healing or harming. Instead, they get to spontaneously cast from a list of Enchantment spells like Command and Suggestion.
