	Evermeet got is start back in the distant past, thousands of years before present day, when a bunch elves decided to create a perfect and safe homeland for themselves. Their [[wizards]] decided that the best way to achieve this was to literally summon a piece of [[Arvandor]] and anchor it to the [[Prime Material Plane\|Toril]]. [[Fail\|It didn't work as well as they wanted it to]], and although they succeeded in bringing a chunk of Arvandor to Toril, the ritual split the continents apart and killed an untold amount of people. Realizing how bad they fucked up, the isle was left to just stay there in the ocean and no elf went anywhere near it.
