This is on top of the move you get, combined with the 1 cp you spend to allow a unit to disembark and then shoot with. Combine two more stratagems and you have a 10 man squad of Rapid Fire 2 Pulse ~~rifles~~ with ~~AP-3 Eviscerating~~ anything they point at. Most races have means of tearing through its armor and dealing multiple wounds, but with a little creativity it can still save your blue hide.
