'''Mhogli''' is a fan-made special character for the [[Kingdoms of Ind]] army created by the [[Warhammer Army Project]] in their fandex for this unexplored part of the [[Warhammer Fantasy Battles]] world.

In case it's not obvious, this is one of those "pop culture parody" special characters that Warhammer has always enjoyed using. As to who he's parody... wow, ever heard of a little story called the Jungle Book?

Anyway, Mhogli... seriously, were they even ''trying'' with that name? Whatever. Mhogli is an Indan beastmaster born in the kingdom of Singha. At a young age, seeking to attain a great reputation, he went on an expedition to the haunted jungles of [[Khuresh]], vanishing for twelve years. When he returned, one of his arms had been replaced by the forepaw of a great tiger, and that side of his body also bore faint stripes like those of a tiger's fur.

Now, in [[The Empire (Warhammer Fantasy)|the Empire of the Old World]], Mhogli would have been dragged towards the nearest pyre as fast as you could scream "[[Mutant]]!". But in Ind, his transformations were viewed as a holy blessing from the Devas, especially because he now had an unprecedented affinity for taming the great cats of Ind. So the Maharajah of Singha took him in as his personal beast-training and master hunter, and now Mhohgli can be found marching to war at his master's army, riding the dire tiger Sher Khana (really scraping the bottom of the name barrel there, guys).

On the tabletop, Mhogli uses up a Hero slot and costs 220 points. He has the following stats:
Movement 5, Weapon Skill 5, Ballistic Skill 5, Strength 4, Toughness 4, Wounds 2, Initiative 5, Attacks 3, and Leadership 8. Sher Khana is Monstrous Cavalry with Movement 8, Weapon Skill 5, Ballistic Skill 0, Strength 5, Toughness 5, Wounds 4, Initiative 5, Attacks 4, and Leadership 7.

He has the following special rules:
* '''Lowborn Caste:''' Is treated as Expendable by models with the Noble Caste or Warrior Caste special rule.
* '''Cause Terror'''
* '''Beastmaster:''' All friendly Warbeasts, Monstrous Beasts, Monstrous Cavalry and Monsters within 6" are Stubborn and may re-roll failed Ld tests.

Mhogli wields the '''Beast's Bane''' (Magic Weapon, Spear, Armor Piercing 1, Multiple Wounds D6), and wears the '''Helmet of the Dark Beast''' (Magic Armor, +1 to Armor Saves, enemies must re-roll successful Panic, Fear and Terror tests caused by Mhogli). He also carries a hand weapon.
