		Sister Naomi was stressed out, she had been working several shifts in a row, the countless companies of guardsmen were here to fight off yet another invasion of chaos and she could not rest while injured guardsman were still in need of her care. Twisted daemons from the warp materialized and wrought havoc across the planet. Orbital bombardments had no effect on this shifting enemy, forcing the commanders to fight yet another long and costly ground war, draining the limited resources of the battered Imperium. Company after company built encampments and walls from the bodies, as if trying to plug the rip in the materium with the corpses.

		Sister Naomi and several other sisters of her order had been assigned to care for the regiment as it fought in this costly campaign. She was not one of the better known sisters, the Orders Militant, warriors of the church. Sisters from the Orders Hospitallers were trained in the healing arts, renowned for their prowess, capable of healing even some of the most grievous injuries with ease and bringing the mortally wounded back onto their feet. As with all of the Adepta Sororitas, they were a precious resource and favors had to be called in for their presence.

		Naomi wore simple, white and obscuring robes, keeping in touch with the modesty of her order. Her long black hair was kept beneath her simple headwear. The battle raged on outside with the sisters set up somewhat behind the front lines, ensuring their safety. She had discarded the heavy carapace armor, she was far enough back to not fear any attacks and her gun was kept in a cabinet.
